Students at Pymble enjoy the experience of being part of a vibrant community, both within the school environment and beyond. They are encouraged to explore their gifts and contribute to the world around them in a positive way, whether through fundraising or volunteer work.
The College has always maintained its focus on community and social action, helping others when they need it most. Students are encouraged to respect, support and care for members of the wider community, and to actively participate – not only in fundraising and similarly important activities – but also in meaningful community-based service programs.
Along with the assistance and enjoyment provided to others, these activities and programs allow our girls to look within themselves, assess their own situations, consider their obligations and develop into a conscientious and compassionate member of society; an agent for improvement in the world.
Throughout the year, students participate in a range of projects in support of organisations that have a long association with Pymble, including the Red Cross, the Exodus Foundation, Westmead Children’s Hospital, the Cancer Council, the Melanoma Institute and Uniting Care.
