A vital aspect of nurturing the minds and imaginations of Pymble students is by providing them with opportunities to experience the world around them. Each year, girls are invited to participate in a variety of overseas tours and exchange opportunities that will allow them to encounter unique and often remote areas of the world.
Opportunities in recent years have included tours focusing upon music, community service, culture, sport, language and, of course, exchange programs. Pymble’s opportunities have allowed our students to recently visit, among others, Argentina, China, Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and the United States.
The College conducts cultural exchanges for Years 9 and 10 students and language exchange programs for students in Years 10 and 11. Gap-year exchange opportunities with schools in England and Scotland are available for students after they complete Year 12.
Participation in these programs provides wonderful opportunities for students to embrace the challenges of living in a global community while facilitating the development of life-long friendships and enduring memories, independence and resilience.
