Dance Eisteddfod Victory

Over 100 students from Pymble’s Eisteddfod and Elective Dance groups took park in the Ryde Eisteddfod and City of Sydney Eisteddfod over the weekend. Pymble dancers again showed great courage, professionalism, technique and performance quality across all groups.
The Junior Eisteddfod group performed exceptionally at the Ryde Eisteddfod with Junior Jazz achieving 1st place and receiving the Edna Wilde Prize for highest points attained. The Jazz Lyrical group was also awarded 3rd place in their section.
Success continued for the six groups competing in the City of Sydney Eisteddfod on Sunday 25 July. The Jazz and Contemporary groups competed against 40 schools in each section and performed remarkably across the board.

- Jazz Scarlet – Highly commended
High School Contemporary Section
- Contemporary White – 1st place
- Contemporary Scarlet – Highly commended
Jazz Navy, Contemporary Navy and the Year 10 and 11 elective dancers also performed well in their sections.
