Pymble raises more than $16,000 for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation!
Tuesday 18 June, 2019
On Sunday 26 May, more than 300 Years 7 to 12 students entered the annual Balmoral Burn. Created by Pymble parent, Mr Phil Kearns, the Balmoral Burn is a 420-metre race up Awaba Street, Mosman to support the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. The foundation raises money to purchase essential and life-saving children’s medical equipment for hospitals and health services across Australia.
Pymble entered a record number of school relay teams (76!), which meant that an extra heat had to be added to the event! It was so pleasing to see such a large number of Pymble students supporting a fantastic cause, participating in physical activity on their Sunday and having fun. Thank you to the staff who volunteered their time on the morning to assist with co-ordinating and marshalling our teams; Mr Karl Schmidt and Mr Jack Garrad.
