Orangutan Day
Wednesday 1 April, 2015
On Friday 27 March the College grounds were filled with a sea of orange as students supported The Orangutan Project. The day raised awareness of the plight of Orangutans and the need to protect their habitat through programs to deter wildlife poaching, illegal logging and land clearing in Indonesia.
Under the signpost of Sustainability in Towards 2020 – Striving for the highest, we encourage students to actively engage in sustainable management practices, to be wise in their actions and ethical in their behaviour. Supporting The Orangutan Project is one example of Pymble students promoting environmental and animal sustainability and taking on the role of responsible global citizens.
