Junior School supports The Pyjama Foundation

Friday 17 July, 2015

Junior School students swapped their school uniform for pyjamas and onesies in support of The Pyjama Foundation’s National Pyjama Day.

The Pyjama Foundation helps children in foster care enjoy a brighter future through reading, education and encouragement. They operate a learning-based mentoring program where volunteers called ‘Pyjama Angels’ visit a child for up to one and a half hours a week to read books, play educational games and work on their numeracy skills.

Funds raised from the Junior School’s Pyjama Day will help he Foundation recruit, screen and train more Pyjama Angels to support kids in care.
