Alumni Mentor and Networking Event Returns
Thursday 27 February, 2020
Calling all Pymble alumni!
If you have great career guidance to offer your fellow Pymble graduates, we want to hear from you.
If you are aged between 18 and 35 years, you are invited to an unmissable event to help you on your way to a stellar career.
In its second year, the Chair of College Council’s Alumni Mentor and Networking Event is an exclusive opportunity for leaders in their field to provide advice to fellow Pymble girls, or for those starting out to get their foot in the door.
In 2019 the inaugural event attracted more than 200 ex-students, who commented on its positive energy and helpfulness of mentors and experts in attendance.
The evening will be co-hosted by the Pymble Ladies’ College Ex-Students’ Union (ESU) and College Council Chair, Partner KPMG, James Hunter.
For the second year in a row Mr Hunter has generously offered the use of his offices at KPMG Barangaroo – a stunning venue for a great evening!
Mr Hunter said the event is a fantastic example of the wider Pymble community banding together to ensure the future success of our girls.
“This is an invaluable opportunity for recent Pymble graduates, who are starting out at university or in the first stages of their careers, to benefit from the professional expertise and knowledge of senior members of our community who can help them to gain invaluable work experience, their first employment opportunities, accelerate their careers and be highly successful.
“I strongly encourage our Pymble graduates to attend and thank all our mentors for their continued support of this fantastic initiative.”
The Chair of College Council’s Alumni Mentor and Networking Event will be held at KPMG’s Barangaroo offices on Thursday 14 May between 5.30pm and 9.00pm.
