Aine Oo, a Talent to Watch

Aine Oo, Year 7, was recently selected to perform in The Philadelphia International Music Festival’s PIMFOnline.org Master Class taught by Ricardo Morales, Principal Clarinet of The Philadelphia Orchestra.

The process for selection included participants from around the world and Aine was chosen to play her clarinet with one of the leading specialists in the field. It was not an easy process given the time difference and the fact that she had to change her whole schedule to suit the Northern hemisphere!

The selection panel described Aine as “an accomplished student at Pymble Ladies’ College and an emerging young artist already burnishing her clarinet credentials, taking third place in this year’s global online solo clarinet contest sponsored by the Accademia Italiana del Clarinetto. She is a talent to watch!”
