One Meal Makes a Difference

Friday 5 February, 2021

Aaliyah Khanche, Year 3, and her family have been giving their time to cook and then serve meals for people experiencing homelessness. This act of kindness is clearly something which has positively impacted both the people they are caring for and also Aaliyah herself:

“Today I did something that made me feel really good. Homeless people stood in a line to eat food that people dropped off or stayed to serve. We made butter chicken. It was demolished by the time we were packing up. Our family has committed to doing it once or twice a month. One meal makes a difference, that’s what it’s called. My new year’s resolution is to help our community and care for wellbeing of them.”
